Previous to my Massage Therapy path, I was working with insurance and investments and prior to that I was working in a local flower shop. In 1999, I packed up my lil red car and moved to Toronto where I would attend CCMH (Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy)North York campus from 1999-2001. Upon completing my 2200 hour course I was successfully registered with CMTO (College of Massage Therapist of Ontario).
Being a veteran of 18 years, I have had the pleasure of gaining my work experience working with 3 separate Chiropractic Clinics, 2 separate spa's, a team of Physios and Physio assistants and 3 home clinics. I have also worked alongside with Dentists and Doctors of all sorts. I have traveled near and far to homes, been boated in to a private island, have provided treatments for athletes, actors and singers. My patients have ranged from one week old to 101 years old. Massage is not age or gender specific. Working with Upper Canada Chiropractic Centre has been my stable for the last 13 years while gaining extra work experience here and there. When I am not in the clinic, I can be found traveling around South Dundas providing in house massage therapy to our local Hospice patients. It isn't always all work and no play. When there is a bit of downtime, I can usually be found somewhere in a bush looking for the next geocaching adventure with my husband and our daughter. 3 dogs keep us pretty busy in the outdoors as well. On occasion you may find me with a hook or brush in my hand catching up on a bit of crocheting or painting. |
